Our Expertise
5-Axis Precision
5-Axis machining is the solution of choice at Cadence. It provides “machine controlled” precision with minimum employee touch time. 5-Axis machines were specifically selected to allow maximum tool clearance on five of the six sides of a part. In an effort to achieve maximum precision, it’s important to finish as much of the part as possible while located on the 5-Axis trunnion. Machines are positioned in a cellular layout with convenient access between machines for skilled, 24 hour/day staffing to manage multiple machines at once.
Development Process
Cadence uses a well-defined development process avoid costly mishaps from incomplete tooling, programming and methods. 5-Axis machining offers excellent potential for producing high precision/low-cost parts. However, if done poorly, 5-Axis machines can quickly create massive scrap and quality problems. Not to mention, very expensive machine crashes. Engineers and programmers follow a strict development process to expose problems early and avoid problems in production.
